Our twelve-and-a-half-year-old blind dog’s, Bessie, spirit and adaptability while dealing with losing her hearing is inspiring. Spreading joy to others when going through bitterly challenging life events requires a level of courage and resilience that can only come from deep within the soul. I will attempt to apply Bessie’s example to human circumstances.
