This is good news for those who may want to hang on to their memorabilia – not such good news for those whose attic treasures are destined for the dumpster. The life-long exercise of “letting go” is shared by all. Today’s reflections are being offered by one who finally cleaned out the barn, sold the house (this very weekend!) and along the way learned new lessons from the age-old wisdom of yielding to life.
Reverend Cindy Johnson is a retired clergywoman who served as Associate Pastor for fifteen years at the First Baptist Church in New London. She raised her family in the little village of Sutton Mills and just this weekend moved with her husband to a downsized home across town.
