How do we find sustenance and hope amidst the difficult challenges of life? Rev. Pellegrini will explore the 121st Psalm, her experience as a hospital chaplain, and Sabra Field’s artwork in examining this question.
Rev. Nancy Bird Pellegrini received her Master of Divinity Degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC and was ordained as a Unitarian Universalist minister in 2013. Rev. Pellegrini then served for six years as the chaplain at the Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina and the Assistant Minister at the Unitarian Church in Charleston. She is now a chaplain at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Alice Peck Day Hospital. Previously, she had a 20-year career as a military analyst at the CIA specializing in nuclear arms control. She and her husband Vin have five daughters between them and four grandchildren, so there is never a dull moment.
